We ended up leaving during the 3rd quarter of the game. It was not going well. We were playing a super small town and were getting STOMPED! When I was in high school, we played this team the first game of every season because we were guaranteed to start the season off with a win. When we left the game, we were losing 40-0!!

Saturday, Momma and I went out looking for Halloween costume ideas. We went to Goodwill, and ended up finding some pretty interesting stuff.

I had a great time getting to spend most of the day with my Momma. We figured out Halloween costumes, and I’ll share those with you sometime soon.

Saturday night, I hung out with Jessica and our friend Kacey. Since my camera is dead, I didn’t get to take any pictures! I did steal this picture off Kacey’s facebook page. Took me a loooong time to find one that wasn’t goofy!

I just love her! We definitely hope to all get to hang out again very very soon!

In the midst of our crazy week, our office did get to take a little break and go out to lunch for Tracy’s birthday. It was nice to be able to relax a little and celebrate. Oh, and have some really good Mexican food!

Ok, now on to Fun Friday with Jen. I’m going home again this weekend for my town’s football Homecoming. I don’t think I’ve been to Homecoming since my sophomore year of high school, but this year two of my sweet girls from church are Homecoming queen candidates. I am SO excited for them! I’m taking a half day off of work today so that I can get there in time to see all of the Homecoming stuff. Also planning on hanging out with the family and Jessica. Gonna be a good weekend!

1. Describe your IDEAL Saturday.

My ideal Saturday would be something lazy, sleeping in and movie night or shopping with my girls.

2. If you could live anywhere for one year, where would it be?

I would love to live in Nashville! One of my favorite places!

3. If money were no object, where would you vacation to for 2 weeks?

Europe! I’m DYING to travel around France, Italy, and England.

6. What was your favorite class in high school?

Tough choice. I had several that I really liked. Probably my freshman English class. I had an awesome teacher, and all of my friends were in it. We got to do some pretty awesome stuff too! We saw Romeo & Juliet at the Tulsa Ballet, and went to a book authors’ conference where we met Billie Letts (Where the Heart Is) and the grandmother from the Torkelsons. Got some great stories from that class and those trips. Scary hotels, prostitutes, good stuff! Maybe I’ll blog about them one day!

7. Which on-line store do you spend the most time browsing on?

I’m not an online shopper. I’ll occasionally look at Gap or Old Navy, but not very often.

8. What is your favorite guilty pleasure snack? (and how often do you indulge?)

Um…dark chocolate M&Ms. I try not to eat them very much, but they are soooooo good!

I think my biggest success is graduating from college in four years, even after changing my major.

I spent the whole weekend with Joyce, my adoptive mom from church. Her husband and kids were out of town for the weekend, so we spent the weekend with some super hot guys!

I know I’m a bit late getting this post up, but I haven’t really had time to sit down and go through pictures. But here they are!

Momma and I had a great time in Dallas, but it was a super quick trip. I took off work Friday, and went home Thursday night. Momma and I drove down to Dallas Friday morning. Everyone was working, in school, or had other plans for the day, so we were pretty much on our own. We met CA and Kenny for lunch, then went shopping!

We went to Charming Charlie, a super cute jewelry and accessory store. The items in the store are grouped together by color. So much fun! I got some fun stuff!

The store was pretty inexpensive too. Unfortunately, there isn’t one in Oklahoma. Maybe someday…

After we finished shopping, we went back to CA’s house to chill for awhile before the game. When we got there, no one was home, so we were locked out of the house!

After a quick dinner, we headed to the game. I was so excited to get to see the kids perform. The color guard and band were “guarded” by the “Nazi Moms”, so it was a little hard to get to see them before and during the game. We did manage to grab a couple of quick pictures.

Saturday, the kids had a band contest and CA had a work thing, so Momma and I had the house to ourselves. Saturday was the big OU/Texas came, so of course I came prepared! Dalton is a Texas fan and EA is a Texas A&M fan, so I had a little fun while they were gone!

Saturday evening, we were back home, and I got to go to dinner and run a few errands with Jessica and her boys! My camera is completely dead now, so I didn’t get to take any pictures!

After N was asleep and K was inside playing with his daddy, Jessica and I sat outside and talked for a long time. It was so nice to be able to just sit and talk about everything. Wish we lived closer to each other! I just love and miss our late night chats!

Sunday was church and lunch with the family, then back to OKC. It was such a quick trip! Wish I could’ve had more time home and in Dallas.

I’m planning a lazy weekend this week, and then the next weekend, I’m going back home for Homecoming! I haven’t been since like my sophomore year of high school. Two of my girls from church back home are Homecoming queen candidates, so I’m going home to see them. I’m hoping for more time with the family and more time with Jessica! Can’t wait!

1. What is your favorite fall dessert?

I looooove chocolate pecan pie! I usually make at least one for Thanksgiving every year. So much better than regular pecan pie! You know chocolate makes anything better!

2. What TV show do you wish hadn’t been cancelled?

Any Day Now. It was the absolute best show ever! Jessica and I loved it and were really sad when it was cancelled!

3. What is your favorite store to shop?

Love both of these!

4. What is the best movie you’ve watched this year?

Honestly, probably the only movie I’ve seen in the theater this year.

5. What is your favorite book?

Karen Kingsbury’s Redemption

6. What is your favorite weekend activity?
I don’t usually do a whole lot on the weekends. Sleep! Hang out with friends or my adoptive family, and sometimes go home to see the family and Jessica.

7. What is the best vacation you’ve been on?
Hands down, best ever was summer 2009′s girls trip to Memphis and Nashville!
