Fun Fridays
Yay! It’s Friday!
I’m super happy it’s Friday because, well, this week has kinda stunk. Monday off was great. Tuesday work was exhausting. Wednesday was migraine day, and yesterday was a snow day. Plus, the weather is being uncooperative again, and it’s looking like my awesome Saturday with Neely is going to be postponed AGAIN!
The only real highlight of my week was this.
No more glasses!
Yippee!
My eye doc said the eyes are better, so I finally get to ditch my yucky glasses. I’m SO happy!

This is super random, but my bro showed me this video, and I needed to share it with you.

Oh, and my momma did a post on her blog about me, and she’s linking it up in Kelly’s Show Us Your Singles. It’s kinda awkward, but hey, Leslie met her fiance through Kelly’s last SUYL! :)

Happy Wednesday!
Here’s what I’m loving this week!
I’m loving that Neely and I are going to try to get together this weekend. OKC is supposed to get a “winter mix” on Thursday, so hopefully things will be cleared out by Saturday. By the way, have you checked out her new blog design yet? So awesome!
I’m loooooooving that Teddie and I bought our tickets to see Beauty and the Beast ON MY BIRTHDAY!

I am SO ready for spring, and I’m loving that most stores have their spring lines out already.

I basically live in cute solid colored tops. I love to wear them with dress pants to work and with jeans for play.

Long Weekend Update

Hey y’all! I’m so thankful to have had a three day weekend, even though things were a bit crazy. Friday night, Teddie and I went shopping and went to a movie. We saw Black Swan.

I’m not sure how I feel about it. It was weird and creepy. Also, there were six men, probably late 30s, that came into the movie together. They enjoyed the movie just a bit too much. It was pretty stupid.
Saturday I got up super early to go take a CPR class with my office and some of our foster parents. When that was over, I came home and laid in my bed the rest of the evening watching Grey’s Anatomy.
Such an exciting Saturday night!
Sunday was church and LTC with my kiddos. I had Q group after, then came home and watched/tweeted the Golden Globes.

Today, I laid in bed watching Grey’s Anatomy again for quite awhile. I’d planned to make some headbands today, but ended up cleaning my room and bathroom. The bro and I cooked dinner, then I gave in and watched The Bachelor. I hadn’t planned on watching it this season because I don’t like Brad, but after reading everyone’s tweets the last couple of weeks, I broke down and watched. Oh my goodness, these girls are crazy!

Fun Fridays
It’s Friday!
I’m starting the weekend with a 1/2 day off today! Super exciting, but it’s because I’m working part of the day tomorrow. My office plus some of our foster parents are doing our CPR recertification, so my day will be starting at about 7 am tomorrow!
First on the agenda for the afternoon-NAP! I didn’t sleep much last night, and what’s better to do on an afternoon off that sleep?
Teddie and I are hanging out tonight, maybe doing dinner and a movie. We’re thinking Tangled, How Do You Know, Black Swan, or Country Strong. Any suggestions?
I also have Monday off, so I’m thinking about spending the day crafting, maybe making some more of these!
I’m hoping to also get caught up on my blog reading. Haven’t had a lot of time this week to read. I look forward to catching up on all of you!
Also, Neely, Jen, & Caroline are very close to some big follower numbers! Help them get there by following them! Go now!

What I’m Loving Wednesday

It’s Wednesday!
Here’s what I’m loving this week!
I’m loving that we have Monday off work for MLK day! Who doesn’t love a short week?
I’m loving this sweater I got from American Eagle over the weekend!
I don’t really shop in American Eagle anymore, but stopped in on Saturday to look, and found this, and I just love it! So cute and comfy!
I know this is really coming a week early, but I’m loving that I get to put my contacts back in hopefully next Thursday! I don’t think I’ve mentioned this on here, but my eyes got bad again, so I went back to my eye doc last week, and he told me no contacts for TWO WEEKS! I was done with that after about three days, so I cannot wait until next Thursday!
I’m loving all of my sweet blog and Twitter friends! You guys are just awesome!
And, I’m loving this song. Surprise! It’s not country this week! :)

Weekend Recap

I hope all of you had a great weekend! Mine was pretty calm. If you follow me on Twitter, you probably already know this, but for those that don’t, my awesome Saturday with Neely was unfortunately cancelled due to this…

Stinks a lot, but we’ve rescheduled for a couple of weeks. Can’t wait, Neely!
On Saturday, I laid in bed watching season 4 of Grey’s Anatomy, then went to the mall for a bit before having dinner with my adoptive family and snuggling with their sweet kitties!
Today was church and then lunch with my adoptive family. We spent the afternoon at church for the start of Leadership Training for Christ. I’m helping with 3rd & 4th grade drama again, as well as 3rd-8th grade bible quiz. Should be fun! Here is last year’s recap!

The absolute best part of my week was a surprise visit at the office from Tracy!! I haven’t seen her since before Christmas and her sweet babies were born. It was SO great to see her!

The thing I’m most excited about this weekend is…um…do I even need to say it?

Just in case you haven’t been over here at Ashley’s Carnival Ride or stopped by Chronicles of Neely the last few days, Neely and I are meeting IN REAL LIFE tomorrow and are spending the day playing in Dallas! Neely is one of my bloggy besties, and this is the first time I’ve met a blogger in person. I’m ridiculously excited, but a bit nervous. What if she doesn’t like me in real life? Yikes!

I hope you lovelies have a great weekend! And don’t worry, there will definitely be a blog post coming next week about Saturday…unless Neely doesn’t like me. Then I may disappear from Blogland forever! :)
