Weekend Update!

It’s Monday! I’m excited because I have a 3 1/2 day week this week! My birthday is on Thursday and my bestie Jessica’s birthday is Sunday, so I’m taking a 1/2 day off, and the going home on Friday to spend celebrate with Jessica and my family!

I’m super excited, because Thursday night, Teddie and I are going to see Beauty & the Beast, the musical! I’m thinking it’s a pretty great way to spend my birthday! :)

Here is a quick recap of my weekend. Friday night, I met Jamie for dinner and to do our Valentine’s swap! We had such a great time! We had dinner at Qdoba and before we knew it, we’d been there for three hours! She is so so precious, and it was so fun to get to meet in person!

Saturday, I went shopping with the bro, and Teddie ended up meeting us to shop. We had dinner, then Teddie and I went back to the mall for a bit. We were on a mission to find something cute to wear to B&B, and luckily Gap didn’t disappoint!

Tonight, I’m watching at tweeting the Grammys! So far, I’m doing pretty good with my predictions! I’ve only missed a couple I think! I’ll do a small recap sometime this week.

Fun Friday

Fun Fridays

Finally, Friday is here!

It seems like the week has gone on forever, which is weird since I had 1 1/2 days off work because of the snow. Anyway, I’m so ready for the weekend!

Tonight, Jamie and I are meeting for the first time! We are having dinner and hanging out! I am super ridiculously excited!

The rest of the weekend, I’m planning to relax and try to do some reading. I have so many books that I’m dying to get through, but I just haven’t given myself the time to read them.

Hopefully I can start this one!
I also hope to get caught up on all of your blogs. I have been a terrible blogger these last couple of weeks.
Sunday is church, then LTC with my kiddos. I haven’t seen them for three weeks!

I’m loving that Jamie and I are meeting on Friday (weather permitting)! We are blog swap partners, and there was no way we were going to just mail our stuff living this close to each other! I can’t wait to meet you, Jamie!

I’ve just been blogging barely over a year, but I feel like I’ve learned A LOT about blogging and the blogging community.

I have made some awesome friends through blogging this last year! I love how we can be close friends, even though we’ve never met in person. Weekend Update

Hey y’all! It’s Monday! Finally, after a surprise week off, I’m back to work today. I never imagined that I would be excited to go back to work after a break, but it is so nice to be able to get out of my apartment. I do have one post planned for sometime this week that details my super exciting week off.

Here’s a quick recap of my weekend. Friday, Colby and I finally got out of our apartment and went to Walmart where I got Pioneer Woman’s new book!

I haven’t started it yet because I’m trying to get through the gigantic stack of books beside my bed, but I’m dying to start reading it! I just love her!

Jack was kind of excited!

Saturday, Colby and I went to hang out with our adoptive family for the evening.

Sunday, our church changed worship time to the afternoon because we were expecting more snow. It was soooo nice to be able to sleep in on a Sunday morning instead of having to get up at 6:45! :) Sunday evening, we went back to our adoptive family’s house for their Superbowl party. I didn’t care about either team playing, so Wade and I represented our team!

The best part of the game? New Glee episode!
It was awesome!

Hey y’all!
So, you know how I posted super early this morning about my list of things I wanted to accomplish today? Well, it’s 2:00 and I’ve done NONE of those things. Instead, I’ve been sitting or laying in my bed watching my thousandth episode of Private Practice. No cleaning done, no books read, no nothing!
