Hey y’all!
Today’s topic is favorite fall recipes!
I’m not a cook at all, but I do love making soup and chili. Today I’m sharing two of my favorite recipes. Well, they are actually the only ones I can make! :) They are both super easy and super yummy!
Taco Soup
2 lbs ground beef, browned and drained
1 chopped onion
1 can chili with no beans
2 cans drained pinto beans or chili beans (I prefer the chili ones)
1 can stewed diced tomatoes
1 can Rotel tomatoes
1 lb Velveeta cheese
16 oz sour cream
1/4 tsp garlic powder
2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
Combine beef, onion, beans, tomatoes, and cheese. 10 minutes before serving, add sour cream. Serve over tortilla chips and top with grated cheese and sour cream.
Taco soup is one of our family’s favorites. The recipe makes a huge pot, and we can eat on it for a week and not get tired of it. We LOVE it!
Grandaddy’s Venison Chili
3 pounds venison (you can substitute beef if you’re weird and don’t like venison)
1 can Rotel Chili Fixings
1 can diced tomatoes
1 can Ranch Style Beans
29 oz can tomato sauce
16 oz can tomato sauce
1/2 package Williams Chili Seasoning Mix
Brown meat and add other ingredients. Bring to boil, then lower heat to low. Cover and simmer about an hour.
Grandaddy’s chili is the best ever! He’s won contests with it, seriously! I made it for the first time last winter, and it was good, but he makes it the best!
