Hey y’all! I hope you’ve all had a great weekend! I had a great weekend with my Momma. It’s always so fun to have her up here.

We laid around the apartment Friday morning, and then Friday afternoon, we went to the mall to the theater. We watched Soul Surfer.It was a very inspirational movie! We all enjoyed it, even my brother!

After the movie, we went shopping for a bit. I got a super cute top at NY & Co.

We had a great dinner at BJ’s.

After dinner, we went to Shannon Miller Park to take pictures by the statue. It was pretty fun!

We couldn’t get Colby to pose by the statue. Don’t know why!

Mom had to leave Saturday, and I had to work part of the day. I spent the evening hanging out at home. After the crazy week, it was nice to just chill for a bit. I also started recording my Q&A vlogs. I did one answering all of the questions, and it ended up being 12 minutes long! Didn’t figure y’all wanted to watch one that long, so I broke them up into three parts. Here is part 1!

1. Do you watch/read the news?

Oh yes! I’m a huge news fan! I watch local news at 5 or 6 and 10, World News at 5:30, Nightline at 10:30, occasionally GMA or Today in the mornings. Plus, I read Fox News and NewsOK online. I also have several news apps on my phone! I’m kinda obsessed! :)

2. How would you describe your "look"?

Um…girly maybe? I like dresses and jewelry and other girly things!

3. Did you play sports in high school or college?

Haha, no. Definitely not coordinated enough for that!

4. Would you rather give up lipstick/gloss or high heels?

I don’t really wear either very much. I’d probably rather wear lip gloss over heels.

5. What’s your favorite show to watch on tv?

6. Would you rather bake or cook?

I’d rather bake. I’m not a great cook, but I do enjoy baking.

7. Shorts or skirts?

Skirts, definitely!

8. What’s your favorite scary movie?

I don’t do scary movies at all. Not a fan!

It’s Friday. Finally.

It’s been a really really rough week. But, things got a lot better last night. The only thing that could make me feel better happened!

Most of these songs come from my middle school days and are special songs for me and Jessica. Here are the songs that take me back…

1. *NSYNC-I Want You Back

*NSYNC is responsible for converting me to pop music back in 7th grade. I do actually remember the first time I heard them. Jessica was with me at my grandparents’ house, and we were listening to them on her CD player. We used to listen to *NSYNC constantly when we had sleepovers with all of the girls, and we all had our favorite boy from the group. We also might have had a dance to this song!

2. S Club 7-Two in a Million

Do y’all remember S Club 7? We were obsessed with them and even watched their TV show. We used to drag Jessica’s CD player out to her trampoline and play their CD on repeat. Good times!

3. Spice Girls-Stop

This one was one of our favorites too! We all loved the Spice Girls and knew all the dances to all their songs!

4. The Offspring-Pretty Fly for a White Guy

Two words: PUSH DANCE!

5. Lee Ann Womack-I Hope You Dance

I love this beautiful song! So many memories associated with it!

Hey y’all! I hope you all had a great weekend! Mine was pretty busy, and I’m pretty tired.

I had Friday off, so I laid in my bed until 2:00, then went to the mall! New York & Co. was having a huge sale! Everything in the store was 50% off! It was wonderful! I got these cute tops.

Saturday, my agency hosted a seminar on parenting children with prenatal substance abuse. I sat in on the speaker for a few minutes, then went to help in the nursery. I got to play with some of my sweet babies!

Saturday afternoon, Teddie came over and hung out for a few hours. After she left, I went to watch a movie and have dinner with Joyce and W. We watched Life As We Know It. Great movie!

We also played with the puppies. One of the cats wanted in on the action too. I love this adorable video!

So sweet!

Sunday was church, the LTC with my kiddos, then ACM Awards! Y’all know I love award shows!

Loved Carrie’s gorgeous dress! I want it! :)

Woo hoo, it’s Friday!

I am enjoying a nice day off today! I do have to work a couple of hours tonight, but it’s nice to be able to sleep in again.

Most of my weekend is revolving around work activities. I’m working tonight, and then tomorrow, my agency is cohosting a seminar on parenting children with prenatal substance exposure. I’m really excited, and I think it will be a really great event!

Sunday is church, then a full afternoon with my church kids, preparing for our convention in April. It’s coming up so quick!
