Hey y’all!
Before I get started, I have to add something from last week. When we talked about important people in our lives, I left out a really special precious friend, and I just feel terrible about it! So Meghan, I love you and I miss you and I’m sorry!

Today’s questions are a bunch of fun randoms :)
1. What is the most difficult thing you have been through?
When I was a kid, I was diagnosed with scoliosis, which is curvature of the spine. I wore a back brace at night for about a year, and when that didn’t work, I ended up having two spinal fusion surgeries. It was not a fun experience and I had to make some life changes, but it was the best thing for my health, so I worked through it. Aside from a few physical limitations, I’ve been able to live a pretty normal life!
2. What was your best birthday?
My family has always made sure my birthdays are special, so I don’t know that I can single one birthday out! A fun party I can remember from childhood was my 50′s party. We all wore poodle skirts, listened to 50′s music, and my cake was decorated to look like a record! It was lots of fun!
3. What has been your favorite thing you’ve done in your own city?
One of the things I love most about Oklahoma is how we come together to support each other during difficult times. Last year when the awful tornadoes ripped through Moore, Blake Shelton an Toby Keith each planned huge benefit concerts to support the families affected by the storms. I went to both of them, and in addition to hearing some great music, it was great to be able to come together as a community and a state to support each other. A close second-attending an OKC Thunder game during the NBA playoffs this year :)
4. What is your idea of the perfect date night?
Tough question :)
5. Have you ever been to a blogging conference? If so which one(s)? If not, do you want to?
I went to the last two Blissdoms and one Bloggy Boot Camp! Through all three conferences, I gained some great knowledge about blogging and life, and I made some amazing friends! If you’ve never been to a blog conference, I highly encourage you to try one!

Oh wow, you had spinal fusions?! Poor thing, I’m glad that helped & your able to do everything. A 50′s party would be so cool. I’d love to go to a blog conference, I’m scared of flying alone. Haha, how embarrassing. I hope you have a great Sunday!
I’m glad the fusions worked! A 50s birthday sounds so fun! My best friend & I were 50s girls in elementary or middle school & we made our own poodle skirts.
Oh my gosh, a 50s themed birthday party sounds like so much fun! And very happy to hear to that your spinal fusions seemed to have worked for you
Awwwww I love anything 50s themed that’s so awesome!!!
I know what you mean about the benefit concerts – the warm fuzzy feeling you get when a community comes together to support each other is just amazing!
I would love to attend a Blogging Conference. I heard Bloggy Boot Camp is great.
That’s awesome news that your surgery was successful.
I find that disabilities make a lot of people stronger. It has for me!
The 50s Birthday party sounds like a lot of fun. I’ve been to a Bloggy Bootcamp, too. Was a great experience.
