1. What is the name of your blog and how did you come up with it?
My blog is called Ashley’s Carnival Ride, and it comes from my favorite line in Carrie Underwood’s “Wheel of the World”. I think it is a great way to look at the journey of life!
2. What do you love the most about blogging?
I absolutely love the friendships I’ve made! I never thought I’d meet some of my best friends through the blogging community, but I’m so thankful for them!
3. What are your 2 favorite posts you’ve written?
4. What is something you’d want to tell someone just starting out in blog world?
My advice would be to just be you! Write about what you want to write about, and don’t worry about the numbers. Blog for yourself! You’ll be much happier!
5. Biggest blogging learning experience you’ve had?
Be a little bit guarded. Some people aren’t quite what they seem. Most people are, but not all!
6. Give us 3 blogs we NEED to be following that you love.
Ok, first, you need to be following my fabulous cohost and bff Neely, duh :)

My precious real-life turned bloggy friend Regina!

One of my blogging heroes, Angie Smith. She’s such an amazing person!
Your turn! Grab our button, answer the questions, and link up your post with Neely and me!
Next week’s questions
1. What are 3 items you can’t live without on a daily basis (water, food, shelter, and clothes don’t count)
2. What is your all time favorite book? Why?
3. What is something you’d like to accomplish before the end of 2012
4. If you could go back and relive any year of your life which year would it be?
5. What do you wish people knew about you without you having to tell them?
Have a fabulous Sunday!

I’m glad today’s questions are introductory, it’s my first Sunday Social! Good timing or what?! :)
As a noobie it is great to hear that its OK to write just to write and to have no interest in statistics or follower numbers!
the first time i came across your blog i INSTANTLY knew that your blog’s name came from the carrie underwood song! :)
I think it’s really cool that you’ve made real life friends through blogging. I’m also pleased that you encourage people to be themselves but also be guarded. It’s so easy to give too much information about yourself. (I have a tendency to want to do that.)
Your tips are great, and I love the photo of you and the lady bloggers. I hope I get to see you again soon!!
xox!
This is my first link up for Sunday Social and what a delightful meme. Thanks for hosting it. Enjoyed your answers and getting to know you a little bit better. Blessings for this new week!
Your advice to be guarded is really good to always keep in the back of your mind. So many people in the blogging world and friendly and awesome…but you have to remember that this is the internet and to practice safe sharing…I think sometimes people forget.
This is my first Sunday Social link-up and the question topics fit perfectly for the occasion! I hope I am as blessed as you with blogging friends – I am in the process of getting to know people better and I love it. I am a new follower and look forward to learning more about you through your blog!
I hope you chose to stop by my blog and get to know me as well! I have a Starbucks giveaway going that expires tonight, and that is always fun too!

I love that picture from Blissdom. My heart is smiling:)
I 100% agree on writing for YOU and not anyone else! If they don’t like what you write/have to say, then they don’t have to read :).
