Hey Friends!

Hey y’all!

I’m finally back!

Wow, last week was…tough.

On Tuesday evening, I posted this picture on Instagram.

Five hours later, I was throwing up…
I’m pretty sure that I had a bit of food poisoning. I was absolutely miserable, and I spent all day Wednesday and most of the day Thursday in my bed.
This little fella really enjoyed having me home and snuggled with me most of the day.
He kept checking up on me to make sure I was ok :)
By Friday I was feeling much better, and I was able to go back to work.
Friday afternoon, I got to have lunch with Tracy!
It has been soooooo long since we’ve had grown-up girl time, and I really enjoyed getting to catch up with her. I’m so thankful for her friendship!
Yesterday at church was our annual Missions Sunday. This service is where we take up a special contribution to fund all of the mission groups that we support for the next year. Leading up to it, we’ve been having people from different countries skyping in during our services to lead prayers. I wanted to share a few pictures from our service this morning.

Our former minister spoke on how we are commanded to go out into the world to spread the gospel.

The service ended with our elders taking up the special contribution. We found out later that we surpassed our goal by a little over $17,000! I think this was my 6th Missions Sunday, and every year I am just blown away by the generosity of the people in my church. Our church is known for being very missions-minded, and I love seeing the ways we support mission works.
One last thing before I go! If you have a minute, I’d love for you to vote for me in Nathan’s Bloggy awards!
Life & Everything Else In Between
I’m ridiculously excited to be nominated in several categories, along with Neely and Lori! I’d love it if you’d vote for them too!

I hope y’all have a wonderful Monday!

I hate that you were so sick! I’m glad you’re feeling better though.

I love that your church puts all the different country’s flags up. That’s really unique!
