The view from my balconyToday is my second day off this week because of the Oklahoma “significant winter storm”. As difficult as it can be to be stuck in the house for a few days, it is also nice to have an excuse to slow down life and just hang out! Here are a few reasons why I’m loving Winter Blast 2010!

Getting lost in one of the many books in the basket beside my bed, waiting to be read.
And I LOOOOVE snuggling with this cute little thing!
He loves having me home for a day or two, but then starts getting into trouble.
Here is one more pic for ya! This of the tree right in front of my apartment. The branches are covered with ice. We are extremely lucky that the ice wasn’t too bad here and we have not lost power (yet!). I hope everyone out there is being safe and staying warm!
I wish I could stay at home all day just lounging around but some people actually have to work… :)
