Oh goodness…big poofy bangs, overall shorts, waaaaaay too much lime green. Good stuff!
2. Who were your best friends in high school? Pics?
Jessica and I have been friends since kindergarten, and I think middle school is when we really figured out that we couldn’t live without each other.
There was also Britni, Randa, Michelle, and we pretty much hung out every day. I was in color guard, so I got pretty close to a few of those girls too.
3. What was a typical weekend like for you in high school?
Jessica and I were usually at each other’s house, or the whole group would go to Randa’s house on Friday nights. We also went to Texas to go to the movies, shopping, or out to dinner. I was kind of a homebody, so I liked to spend a lot of weekends sleeping alllllll day Saturday :)
4. Did you have any boyfriends/girlfriends? Tell us about that.
I dated a guy off and on through most of high school. He was a really great guy, but we just weren’t right for each other.
5. Did you have any secret codes with your friends? Spill your secrets!
We did! In middle school, we had nicknames for each other and other people in our class. We really loved talking about people when they were right beside us, knowing they had no idea we were talking about them!
6. If you could relive one day/moment/experience from middle school or high school, what would it be?
It’s hard to pick just one! Getting picked as color guard captain was a pretty fantastic day!
It was something I really never imagined would happen, and I was so excited! Another fabulous day was going to see *NSYNC in concert with Jessica when we were 13!
Alrighty, it’s your turn! Answer the questions, grab our button, and link up with Neely and me!

Stopping by for the link up. Hope your Sunday is great!
I think I would have died if I got to see NSYNC in concert. I wish I would have been able to see them but no one ever took me. I might still be a little bitter about that, ha! Linking up from Sunday Social :)

I love these questions, just linked up! :) Happy Sunday!
My biggest fashion mistake was the bangs as well… I remember having to have corduroy overalls also which look totally cheesy now, haha!
We did the nicknames too, especially in reference to our crushes!
Ahh! I love these old school pics! I think my biggest fashion mistake in middle school was silk shirts. It was the early 90′s…
Poofy bangs were the way to go!!!
Ramblings of a Suburban Mom
As I was going through my high school photos for some friend pics, I found that a lot of them were from dances as well!!
