I had a silver 1998 Nissan Altima! It was my grandparents before I got it. I absolutely loved it! I drove it until my junior year of college. It was really a great car!

2. Who was your favorite childhood teacher?
Oh, there were a lot of them! My first grade teacher did a lot of really awesome projects and activities with us. Second grade, third grade, and fifth grade were all pretty great. Ninth and eleventh grade English teachers were fantastic, and I loved my chemistry/physics teacher and my math teacher I had all four years.

When I was in fifth grade, my birthday party was 50s themed! We all wore poodle skirts, and my cake was decorated to look like a record. My friends STILL talk about that fabulous party!

6. What show/movie did your parents not allow you to watch?
Ohh, there were lots of things :) As a kid, I wasn’t allowed to watch Rugrats because Momma didn’t like Angelica’s attitude. I couldn’t make this stuff up, folks! Haha!
I also wasn’t allowed to watch anything on MTV. FINALLY, I talked them into letting me watch TRL so I could watch *NSYNC videos!

My elementary school had a jumprope team for a while and then they stopped. They would go perform in the mall. My BF (growing up) was part of it, so I would go with her Mom to watch her.
My school had a jumprope team too! It was awesome haha.
I had no idea there was such a thing as the jump rope team! Love it!

Jumping rope was the schizznit when I was in elementary school, but lil’Martha was super uncoordinated. I stuck to tetherball and four square.

We weren’t allowed to watch anything! haha! No MTV, no PG-13 until 13, no Roseann or Simpsons…but I’m glad. I’m really strict about what McK watches!
Oh my goodness! I had to comment because I was in colorguard/winterguard all 4 years of high school too. Fun times! I actually put a few videos to show off what it actually is. (Some people don’t know!) I love that you were in it too. I can’t believe you couldn’t watch the Rugrats. That was a great show…but I couldn’t watch the Simpsons.
That 50′s themed party sounds so much fun! Thanks for hosting!
