Wow, it has been such a crazy weekend! I actually had several blogworthy activities, but my camera flipped out and deleted ALL of the pictures I took on Friday night! I’m very irritated with it. You’ll have to settle for pictures from the internet.
Ok, I’m gonna warn you. I’m gonna go nerdy on you for just a moment!
Y’all know I love the news, right? Friday evening, KOCO News, my favorite OKC news team, did their 5:00 and 6:00 broadcasts from my university as part of their “On-The-Road College Tour”! Teddie and I went out to watch the broadcast. I was super excited because I got to meet…
Rick Mitchell is KOCO’s weatherman, and he is awesome! I am an absolute mess during severe weather, and Rick keeps me calm! If I’m at home, I have to watch him, and if I’m in the car, I turn it to the station that broadcasts him! Not gonna lie, I was totally star struck! He was really cool!
Teddie and I took pictures with him, but my camera erased them! I hate it!
Along with watching the 6:00 broadcast, we got to see several of the other anchors.
Love Jessica! She’s due with her first baby in 4 weeks, and she was adorable!
Paul goes to church with me. Got to chat with him for a few minutes between segments.
Wendell also goes to church with me!

Got to see all of these guys too!
After leaving the school, we headed to Teddie’s house to meet our friend Katie. Teddie wanted her hair highlighted, and Katie did it for her! It turned out really cute, and I got some great pictures, but they were also erased. :(
Saturday, I got to sleep in for a bit, then had to babysit. Every year during football season, I babysit for a family that has OSU season tickets. I met them when I had their youngest child in my class when I worked at a child care center during my senior year of college. He was my favorite, and I love getting to hang out with him and his sister!
A few pics from the evening…

We made paper plate crabs! So much fun!
Sunday morning, I went to church, then went to help Joyce work in her classroom. When she and Wade had to go to a church meeting, I hung out at their house with the kids and then took them to evening service. We met up with W&J there. After evening service, I went to my Q Group. It was our first evening together after our summer break. It was awesome seeing everyone again, and we had several new people that joined our group!
