…and They Lived Happily Ever After

Hey y’all!
Saturday night, I attended the wedding of Annie and Scott. Annie is one of my TVP girls! They got engaged a year ago at Disneyworld!
The wedding was a big TVP reunion! Nearly all of my girls past and present were there, and we had a night of good conversations, goofy dancing, and a little bit of photo booth fun.
Sarah and I went together! I haven’t seen her in several months, so it was wonderful to have some time to catch up. She’s so precious!
Me and the beautiful bride! She looked absolutely amazing! She and Scott are so happy, and I’m so excited for them!
Ashton was one of the bridesmaids! She looked so beautiful!

Becky was a bridesmaid too! I love that she and Annie have such a close friendship because of their time together at TVP. It makes me so happy :)

Kendall came in from California for the wedding! Loved getting to see her!

Another picture with my date :)

Haley and me! So happy she’s home for the summer!
Annie and Scott left in a horse-drawn carriage! So pretty!
Borrowed this picture from Becky :) A beautiful picture at the end of a beautiful evening!
It was a beautiful, fairy tale wedding with lots of pink, gold, and sparkles. There were lots of pretty flowers and a little bit of Disney music, which is exactly what I expected for Annie. She’s our little Disney Princess, and we’re so happy she found her Prince Charming! I’m so happy I got to be a part of their special day, and I wish them all the happiness in the world!

Divergent

Hey y’all!
Ok, let’s talk about Divergent. All of my girls at work have been reading the books, and after a little bit of convincing, I agreed to read them too so we could all go see the movie together. We bought our tickets for Friday, so I knew it had to get the book finished first! I seriously finished it at 11:30 Thursday night!
Honestly, I didn’t love the book. It was a lot more stressful than books I normally read, so reading it during Scandal commercials had me SO stressed out that I had to turn on Frozen to have happy thoughts in my head before sleep!
It had been a few months since we’ve had a TVP girls night, so we were excited to hang out (Ashton, we missed you!)
We all really enjoyed the movie! There was a lot of action, but there was a little bit of humor too. Our favorite part though? Theo James.
Ladies, this boy is BEAUTIFUL. Natalie and Cathy even argued over him on the drive to the theater :) He was the perfect person to play the role of Four, and we are all crazy about him!
Did you see Divergent? Have you read the books?

Chalkboard Inspiration: Love Quotes

Hey y’all!
One of my favorite things about my TVP store is our chalkboard! We have a cute chalkboard that we keep right by the door to advertise sales and specials. When we’re not running a sale, we put fun quotes, Bible verses, and song lyrics on them!
Every time we make a new one, I share it on Instagram, but I decided to share a few of them here! Because there are so many that I love, I’ll be sharing them in groups over the next few weeks.
We started doing the board in February. Because of Valentine’s Day, we put love quotes on the board!

Aww, we miss Kendall so much!

Becky’s boards are adorable!

Haley and Cathy made a cute one!

I love song lyrics :)

Adorable!

Ashton looooooves owls!
We have done several boards a week over the last few months, so to keep from overloading my post, I’m going to divide them into several posts. Check back next week for more!
Have a great Thursday!

A Little Weekend Update

Hey y’all!
Hope everyone had a fabulous weekend!
My Saturday was a crazy busy day!!
We celebrated the three year anniversary of The Vintage Pearl’s Tulsa location! Since it is our original location, we get to celebrate with them :) We had a huge sale!
My girls worked so hard! Annie and Haley came to help us out, and we got a quick visit from Niesha too! My new girls did great on their first big sale, and we had a wonderful day!
We had lots of fun giveaways and prizes, as well as some awesome sales.

Oh, and we also got to use our new giveaway wheel!
It’s pretty awesome!
Saturday evening, after a crazy long day at TVP, Ashton and I went to the Civic Center to see Wicked!
It was my very first time to see it, and although I own the soundtrack, I really had no idea what to expect. Ashton saw it last year on Broadway, and it’s her favorite!
It was incredible! It was better than I ever expected it to be! Ashton and I had a great time together! She is so precious and so much fun!
My newest SUNNYband made it’s debut Saturday night!
It was a great weekend! It was busy and exhausting, but lots of fun!

A Little Bit of Life Lately

Hey y’all!

Not a lot happening around here, at least not a lot of blog-worthy stuff. Here’s a little bit of what I’ve been up to lately.

We had a little going-away dinner for Haley a couple of weeks ago! She’s leaving us to go to college. She’ll be close enough that we’ll still get to see her, but it’s going to be sad not having her around every day. She’s going to do great in school, and we are so excited for this next chapter in her life!

The chocolate cake was soooo yummy!

Sarah has been with us off and on all summer too! It’s been nice having her back for a bit. We sure miss her!

The bank a couple of doors down from us at TVP brought in an ice cream truck a few weeks ago and gave us coupons for free ice cream! It was a fun little surprise!

I’m having the best time with my sweet kiddos in Bible class. Wednesday night, we made popcorn, also known as manna from heaven :)

Jack’s favorite game is attacking someone’s hands. It’s not a fun game for anyone but him!

I helped Joyce clean out her classroom last week and found this super creepy doll. Definitely trashed that toy :)

Little Man just celebrated his second birthday!

Poor guy! Colby was being…Colby.

Trying to steal Little Bit’s cupcake

Little Miss sure enjoyed hers!

So did Little Girl :)

Future baseball star (if Colby has anything to do with it)

Joyce’s niece Mikayla is here from Japan to go to school! Excited to have her and Jonna both here this year!
Is anyone else super sad about Lee Thompson Young passing away?
I was a huge fan of The Famous Jett Jackson, and between him, Gia Allemand, and Cory Monteith, it’s been a sad few weeks :(
Alright, I’m out!
Have a great Tuesday, y’all!
