Today is my one year Blogoversary!

I cannot believe that I have been blogging a year. I know I say this every time I hit a blog “milestone”, but I seriously never imagined I would actually stick with this thing for a year.

I’m gonna warn you, this is probably gonna be a long post, but trust me, if you stick it out, there’s something at the end worth waiting for!!

When I started blogging, I’d been reading blogs for quite awhile. I was reading blogs by some people from my church, and through those I discovered Kelly’s Korner. I loved how she just wrote about the normal everyday things. I started thinking ‘I could do that’ or ‘If I had a blog, I would so write about this’.

So, January 27, 2010, I started this thing!

I really figured it would be one of those things that would last several weeks and I would get bored with it and never do it again. I couldn’t have been more wrong!

I’ve really been amazed at the blogging community. I’m amazed at the way everyone supports each other and prays for each other and takes care of each other.

I’m also amazed at the friendships I’ve made through blogging that been deepened through Twitter and Facebook. You girls are seriously fantastic, and I just adore you! It’s crazy to think a year ago I didn’t know any of you! I’m so glad I do now!

I love that through blogging I’ve met a sweet girl who lives right here in Oklahoma, about 30 minutes away from me!

I never imagined I would make a weekend trip to Dallas to stay with a girl I had never met in person!

So, all of this to say, it’s been an incredible year! I thank all of you for sticking with me through all of this and for following my life!
